Nine different players scored in the Cuesta College men's water polo team's 19-4 win over visiting Citrus College in a Western State Conference game on Wednesday.
The Cougars led from start to finish behind 9 goals in the first quarter. Luke Walton scored all three of his goals in the first eight minutes. Santa Ynez High graduate Lukas Lastra led the Cougars with 5 goals in the game, while Stephen Henriksen added 4.
Goalie Brady Moore, a Dos Pueblos High graduate, had 6 saves in limited duty in the cage for the Cougars.
Cuesta improved to 3-1 in conference and 22-10 overall.
The Western State Conference Championships are next week.
