Cut-a-thon benefits local children

An Arroyo Grande business was offering discounted haircuts today to benefit local children.
Hair stylists at the Rontal Salon & Beauty Center held their second annual cut-a-thon on Saturday.
Last year's event raised almost $1,000 and organizers say they will work as hard as they can to raise even more money this year because giving back to the community is important to them.
All of the proceeds from the event will go to Children's Services in Arroyo Grande.
