Cyclists get ready for Solvang Century and Half-Century Bike Ride

Hundreds of cyclists will be hitting the pavement Saturday, for the Solvang Century and Half-Century Bike Ride.
You can check out the riders along various portions of the state highway system in Santa Barbara County beginning at 7:00a.m. That's when the 100-mile Century Ride begins. The 50-mile Half Century ride begins with a staggered start at 9:00a.m.
The 50-mile ride will take bicyclists along Highway 246 between Solvang and Lompoc. The 100-mile ride includes parts of Highway 246, Highway 1 from Lompoc to the Harris Grade, Highway 135 in Orcutt and Highway 135 in Santa Maria.
Both courses begin and end at the Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort in Santa Maria.
