Traffic is backing up on Highway 101 North in the Shell Beach area due to an early-morning accident that left one person dead and another injured.
If possible, CHP is suggesting drivers use Noyes or Price Canyon Road instead of Highway 101.
The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. near F. McLintocks.
Officials say the car rolled before landing near the center divider.
One lane is expected to be closed in the area for part of the morning.
