The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department says the man who robbed a bank in Goleta Friday has similarities to the infamous "Geezer Bandit."
Deputies were called to the Bank of America in the 5800 block of Calle Real just before 6:00 p.m. Officers say the suspect handed the teller a note demanding money, then showed a hand gun. Detectives say the man appeared to be older than 65 years old, much like the "Geezer Bandit," and he wore similar clothing.
FBI agents believe the "Geezer Bandit" has robbed 12 banks since August 2009, most of them in San Diego County. If you have any information contact the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department.
