The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who they say attacked another man with a knife at a home in Heritage Ranch Thursday night.

Witnesses say Bill Benjamin Hernandez, 40, attacked another man at a home in the 3200 block of Eagle Point Lane around 7:10 p.m.

The alleged victim was taken to a local hospital. The sheriff's office says Hernandez took off in a car which deputies found Friday morning in Paso Robles.

Investigators say Hernandez should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as an Hispanic male standing 5' 11" and weighing 245 pounds. If you have any information on his whereabouts call detectives at 781-4550 or call Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP.
