Despite a game-high 31 points from Robbie Berwick, the Atascadero boys basketball team's playoff run ended with a 79-57 quarterfinal loss to top seeded Leuzinger on Tuesday night. The Greyhounds finished the season 19-9 overall and with a share of the Pac 7 League title.

The Olympians led 35-22 at the half behind 9 first half points from Eric Childress. Leuzinger, the #1 seed in Division 3AA, hit 15 three-pointers in the game. Deonte Welch added 13 points for the 2010 CIF champions.

Leuzinger outscored Atascadero 19-16 in the third and 25-19 in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Joe Johnson added 7 points for the Hounds, who once again were forced to play without the injured Jared Stuedemann.
