ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - The monorail at Disneyland was temporarily shut down after a wheel fell off and some smoke appeared.

The Orange County Register reports (http://bit.ly/VthC5T) the incident occurred about 10:20 a.m. Monday when a wheel fell off of one car. Park officials closed the ride for a couple of hours as the troubled car dropped off passengers and then was taken to a repair shop.

There were no reports of any injuries.

A second train was stranded on the track and passengers had to wait about 45 minutes until the train was towed to a station.
