Doc Burnstein's 7th annual "Scholarship Day" helps employees go to college

ARROYO GRANDE - Today you have a chance to get a sweet and cold treat, and help some local kids go to college.
All of the money from the 7th annual Doc Burnstein's "Scholarship Day" will go to employees who have scooped sundaes and waffle cones for at least 500 hours.
Employees who aren't eligible for the scholarships donate their time today to help out their co-workers.
This year the ice cream shop expects to give out around $4,000.
Doc's in the Arroyo Grande Village and Old Town Orcutt will both be donating to the fund.
