Domestic violence suspect in custody after Sheriff's operation and school lockdown in Los Osos

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man wanted in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident in Los Osos on Tuesday.

Sheriff's officials say a woman drove herself to the hospital on Tuesday morning with injuries to her hands and legs. Based upon her injuries, authorities believed the man who allegedly attacked her may be armed.

The Sheriff's Office responded to the area of the 600 block of Los Osos Valley Road Tuesday afternoon with 15 to 20 units. Nearby Monarch Grove Elementary School was placed on lockdown as a precaution.

Sheriff's officials say the man came out of his home on his own and was taken into custody shortly before 3:00 pm.
