Donating for a good cause

This past Saturday a young man turned 8 years old in Atascadero. But unlike most 8 year olds, Ashton Salas asked his friends and family to bring a gift, but not a gift for him. He asked them to bring a present to donate for Toys for Tots.

As friends and family gathered to celebrate, the Atascadero Fire Department Station 1 stopped to surprise Ashton with their fire engine.

Ashton said it is the season for giving to others.
