Donations requested for victims of house fire

A longtime teacher in the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District lost her home in a fire in Paso Robles on Thursday.

A representative from the school district says Karen Grandoli and her family lost all of their belongings, including their car, in the fire that started around 10 am. It happened in the 2300 block of Signora Rosa Court.

A donation effort has been started for the family and any items can be dropped off at MMC Lending located at 502 1st Street, Suite C, in Paso Robles.

The school district representative says the family is in need of clothing, toiletries, household items and more. Their son, Owen, wears a children's size 10.

A fund has also been set up at Mission Community Bank under the Grandoli Family Fund.
