Just after 10:00 a.m. Friday morning, Santa Barbara County fire crews assisted by UCSB Fire and the California Highway Patrol, responded to a report of a bus crash.

When officers arrived, they found a man in his 20's trapped inside of his vehicle, after being t-boned by an MTD bus on Hwy. 217, near the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport.

Crews say they used the jaws of life to free the man. He suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital.

No word yet on what caused the crash.
