Construction of a median barrier on Highway 101 north of the Cuesta Grade could lead to some delays for drivers.
The work is being done from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Wednesday. The southbound fast lane will be closed from Tassajara Creek to Highway 58 in Santa Margarita.
Caltrans says overnight lane closures in the area are expected to take place through October. This week, the southbound fast lane will be closed nightly from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am through the morning of Friday, September 20. The northbound fast lane will be closed nightly from 6:00 pm to 11:55 am through the morning of Friday, September 20.
The project is expected to be completed next summer.
