DUI driver arrested after injuring woman in an accident in San Luis Obispo

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries Saturday after being hit by a DUI driver in San Luis Obispo. It happened at the intersection of Santa Rosa and Monterey Street around 4:25 p.m. Officials say two cars crashed. One of the drivers, 25-year-old Colton Porter, was driving under the influence. He was arrested and charged with felony DUI for causing injury. He was booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail. Officials say the driver of the other car had minor injuries. She was taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries on one of her arms. Police closed one side of Santa Rosa Street for a little while Saturday afternoon while they cleaned up the accident.
