The Eagles regained the lead for good with 2 runs in the third inning with Dylan Azevedo scored the go-ahead run on a passed ball. They carried a 4-3 lead into the seventh inning where they erupted for 4 runs to put the game away.
Garrett Ball led the Eagles' 9 hit attack with 2 hits and a walk. Tyler Auerbach continued his hot hitting since returning from an injury with a 2-run double in the seventh. Casey Muth added a run-scoring single in the seventh. Azevedo walked twice, scored twice and singled once.
