The Arroyo Grande, St. Joseph and Mission Prep boys basketball teams received at-large berths to the State Basketball Tournament on Sunday.
Arroyo Grande is the 13 seed out of 16 teams in the Southern California bracket of Division 2. The 21-9 Eagles will play at Westlake (26-5) on Wednesday in the first round. Arroyo Grande lost in the CIF-Southern Section Division 2A semifinals at Redondo Union on Tuesday.
St. Joseph is the 14 seed out of 15 Southern California teams in Division 4. The Knights (22-8) will play at Exeter (22-6) in the first round on Wednesday. St. Joseph hasn't played since losing to Brentwood in the CIF-SS Division 4A semifinals on February 22.
Mission Prep is the 3 seed in Division 5. The Royals (23-7) will host Laton (11-18) in the first round on Wednesday. Mission Prep lost in the CIF-SS Division 5AA championship to Buckley on Saturday.
All three teams will have to win four games to capture the Southern California Regional and advance to the state championship game against the winner of the Northern California bracket.
