Families poured into Templeton Park for the annual Easter celebration put on by the Celebration Worship Center.
The event started at 11 a.m. and was entirely free to the community. It featured a barbecue lunch, bounce house, game booths, prizes, and of course, a giant Easter egg hunt for the kids. Organizers say they worked tirelessly to ensure everyone had a good time.
"The people in church just work so hard. They work so hard and put everything into it. So, if it weren't for them, nothing would have happened," said Pastor Roy Spinks.
About a thousand people turned out for the festivities. This is the fourth year the church has put on the event. Organizers say it draws a larger crowd every year.
