Embattled Arroyo Grande City Councilman, Ed Arnold, appeared in court today for the first time since his arrest in December for domestic violence and assault charges.
Arnold was arraigned on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, felony burglary and making criminal threats. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.
Arnold's attorney Ilan Funke-Bilu says, his client is a good man who is concerned about his children.
Arnold's next scheduled appearance in court is set for March. The restraining orders filed against him by his wife and another woman remain in effect.
