Eight area girls tennis teams play CIF first round matches Wednesday

Eight girls tennis teams from San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties will be in action on Wednesday in the first round of the CIF-Southern Section playoffs. Righetti, Santa Maria, Lompoc and Cabrillo won wild card round matches on Tuesday to stay alive in the postseason. The schedule of today's matches is listed below.

DIVISION 3, FIRST ROUND , 2PM
Righetti @ #1 Malibu - @ Pepperdine University
San Luis Obispo @ Buckley
La Reina @ #2 Arroyo Grande

DIVISION 4, FIRST ROUND, 2 PM
Santa Maria @ #1 Cerritos
Wildcard @ Santa Ynez
Lompoc @ Cate
Cabrillo @ #2 Orcutt Academy - @ Hancock College

The winners advance to Friday's second round.
