At least eight Central Coast high school athletes will sign National Letters of Intent on Wednesday when the Regular National Signing Period opens nationwide.

Signing ceremonies are scheduled at Arroyo Grande, Templeton, San Luis Obispo and Lompoc High Schools.

Templeton's Ross Berry and SLO High's Jack Ferguson will sign letters of intent to play football at Cal Poly. SLO High pole vaulter Connor Hall will ink a letter to Duke and girls soccer player Brady Candaele will commit to Cal Poly. Lompoc football star Lavon Coleman will sign with the University of Washington. Arroyo Grande soccer star Mallory Flatebo will sign with Cal State San Bernadino, teammate Nadine Reed will commit to Arizona State and track and field star Madison Jacobs will sign with Kentucky.

KSBY Sports will be at all four signing ceremonies on Wednesday with more to come in the next few weeks.

Below is a list of local athletes, who have signed or verbally committed to four year colleges since the 2012-13 school year started. Several of them signed letters of intent last November during the early signing period.
