Fashionistas and philanthropists came together Sunday for the Eighth Annual Fashion in Aktion Show in Santa Maria.
Guests could enjoy food, wine, and runway seating at the event.
KSBY'S own Connie Tran acted as a guest judge for the show.
Clothing was provided by VTC Thirft Store.
All proceeds benefit the Kiwanis Aktion Club. The organization is dedicated to helping adults with disabilities.
"Over the past 12 years, the Aktion Club in Santa Maria has raised over $100,000, and they've donated it back to the community in the form of scholarships, dances, and all kinds of different great things for our community that a lot of people don't know about," said Wendy Theis Sell, an M.C. at the event.
The event was actually created by several adults with disabilities. They were also invited to be models in the show.
