Santa Maria Mayor Larry Lavagnino (pictured with KSBY's Caroline Lowe) helped serve up delicious soup at the 11th annual Santa Maria Empty Bowls fundraiser on Wednesday. The event benefits the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County.
For a donation of $25, guests select a handcrafted bowl of their choice and fill it with one of several gourmet soups. Guests later take the bowls home to keep. Tickets can be purchased at the door. The event goes until 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Maria Fairpark.
