This weekend, the UCSB Arts and Lectures series continues their fall dance series with the U.K. based, Akram Khan Dance Company's, "Vertical Road."
According to the dance company's founder, the program is a dance meditation based on "humanity's journey between the earthly and the spiritual."
The score was composed by Nitin Sawhney and the choreographer, Akram Khan says the inspiration comes from Sufi tradition and Persian poet-philosopher "Rumi."
There's just one performance Sunday evening at 7. For more information, check out the links section here at ksby.com.
