Experts recommend slowing Hepatitis C epidemic through the prison system

UC researchers say the best way to slow the Hepatitis C epidemic is through the prison system.

Researchers say identifying and treating infected inmates could cure a huge number of people before they're released back into the community.

Hepatitis C can cause cirrhosis, cancer, or failure of the liver.
