Explosion reported at Santa Clarita apartments

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities in northern Los Angeles County say possible narcotics and fireworks have been found inside an apartment where neighbors said they heard an explosion in the Canyon Country neighborhood.
Sheriff's Deputy Joshua Dubin of the Santa Clarita Valley station says no injuries have been reported as a result of the explosion at about 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Deputies evacuated several units at the Mountain View Apartments following the explosion
The materials found in the apartment are under investigation.
