With just five days left before the November 6th election, there are extended hours for county election offices on the Central Coast.
The San Luis Obispo County election office on Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo will be open an extra hour Thursday until 6 p.m.
On Saturday and Sunday they're open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In Santa Barbara County, offices will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Election Day, Tuesday November 6th, offices in both counties will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. when the polls close.
The offices say the extended hours are to make sure everyone has an opportunity to vote. If you vote by mail, make sure you turn in your ballot to a polling station, or to the County Clerk Recorder's office by 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
