High clouds across the Central Coast on Tuesday, a mild day in most regards. Highs will be pleasant in the upper 60s and low 70s near the coast with the interior valley scratching out some lower 60s. North winds around 15mph. It'll be a wonderful day.
Wednesday also looks splendid with a return of similar temperatures and winds, however there are abrupt changes after that. Lows Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the 40s near the coast and near freezing inland.
A stronger upper level dip in the jet stream will usher in dramatically cooler highs Thursday and likely a few scattered showers as temps cool by about 10 degrees. Not much in the way of rain, a few hundredths of an inch (where it does rain - not everyone will get measurable rainfall) but winds could hit 30mph. 50s with wind will feel quite cold.
It'll be a cold start to Friday morning as lows will drop into the 20s inland and low to mid 30s near the coast.
While the sun comes back out Friday through the weekend, it will only slowly warm with highs in the 50s slowly warming to the 60s near the coast and quite cool with upper 40s to mid 50s highs inland.
