Fans can decide pin placement at PGA Championship

For the first time in the 95 year history of the PGA Championship, fans will play a role in the course setup. It's called the "Pick the Hole Location Challenge."

Fans can select where the 15th green's cup will be during the final round at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York. The year's final major starts on August 8.

Four choices for pine placement are offered for the par 3, 181 yard hole. It's a downhill setup with two bunkers and water around the narrow green. Jack Nicklaus, who won the PGA Championship at Oak Hill, came up with the idea to involve fans with the pin location.

The voting started today on the PGA website. It ends at the close of the third round on August 10. To vote, click here.
