Fatal crash closes Highway 101 near Hollister

A fatal crash on Highway 101 near Hollister could cause some problems for commuters headed north Friday morning.

That crash happened on the southbound lanes of the highway, just after midnight on Friday. Our local California Highway Patrol officers say a big rig truck crashed into a guardrail, and the accident site still hasn't been cleared.

We're told vehicles on the highway are pulled over while they wait for the highway to clear.
