A Paso Robles couple is arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Paso Robles Police Department on human trafficking charges.
Max and Melinda Morales were taken into custody Tuesday morning.
The couple is accused of smuggling Filipino nationals into the United States and forcing them to work at the elder care homes they own.
Officials are currently executing federal search warrants at the facilities in Paso Robles. They're also searching a few homes, like the two pictured with this story.
The FBI and the Paso Robles Police Department are planning to release more information at a press conference at 10 a.m.
