Ferrari on 20,000 mile trip stops in San Luis Obispo

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ferrari Club of America, one special Ferrari is making a 20,000 mile lap around America. Throughout the trip, the car is making stops at Ferrari Club chapters, and on Friday, the destination was San Luis Obispo.

The 599 Ferrari that was chosen to make the country-wide trip stopped at the Madonna Inn. When it arrived, the driver exchanged a baton with the local president of the Ferrari Club Southwest chapter.

The trip is all in honor of the Ferrari Club's anniversary, but it's also to raise money for their favorite charity. At each stop, members of the club are asked to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities fund.

The car is now on its way to Calabasas, then Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, and San Diego before moving on to the next region.
