Festival celebrates cultural diversity

A local club was celebrating cultural diversity on Sunday.
Cal Poly's Multi-Cultural Center put on Culture Fest, a free event held at Mitchell Park in San Luis Obispo.
It featured a variety of live performances by local organizations as well as International food, and many cultural activities everyone could enjoy.
Cal Poly student Llanee Anderson said, "Every day i get to meet someone new and it really re-affirms the fact that SLO is a good place, and it is becoming more culturally aware and tolerant as time goes by."
Anderson says the event was not just for Cal Poly students, but something for the entire community to enjoy.
