Festival of Beers this weekend in SLO

Last weekend Central Coasters were enjoying the fruits of the vine at the Paso Robles Wine Festival. This weekend the beer aficionados get their turn in San Luis Obispo.

4000 people are expected at the California Festival of Beers this Saturday, May 26 from 11:00a to 4:00p at the Madonna Inn Expo Center. It's the 26th year for the event which will feature more than 60 brewers serving up more than 300 of their finest micro brews. There will also be a variety of bands playing throughout the day.

Tickets are $75 for General Admission which includes a souvenir beer glass, unlimited one ounce tastings, and free shuttle service. VIP tickets go for $200 and include food, non-alcoholic beverages, free parking, and entrance to all three weekend events. Proceeds benefit Hospice of San Luis Obispo.
