Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Awareness Day recognized at SLO County court

The San Luis Obispo County Courthouse is observing International Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Awareness Day this week, starting Tuesday.

White flags will be placed along the courthouse lawn. Each flag represents a baby born exposed to alcohol during pregnancy in the last seven years. The flags will be outside through Friday.

In honor of the day, Beginnings of San Luis Obispo, will be hosting several activities throughout the week.
