Normally, the Central Coast is known for its great tasting wines, but that wasn't the focus Sunday.
It was the Fifth Annual Chili Festival at Biddle Park in Arroyo Grande.
There was a chili making competition and plenty of chili to taste.
This year, organizers combined the Chili Fest with the SLO Jazz Festival. Four local bands performed at the event.
The Arroyo Grande Rotary Club hosts the event every year.
