A proposed dog park in Paso Robles got some new funds.

Thursday night supporters of the Sherwood Dog Park attended a viewing of the film "Always Faithful."

It's a feature-length documentary about the U.S. Marine Corps dog teams on the front lines of war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The filmmaker, Harris Done, told KSBY News, "I think one of the things that I like to do with this movie is bring to the public's attention the work that these military work dogs do."

Tickets were $12. All of the money went towards the dog park.
