Central Coast law enforcement officers say the winter holiday anti-DUI crackdown resulted in a significant number of arrests.

In San Luis Obispo County 114 people were arrested for DUI. Last year, that number was 112.

In Santa Barbara County 147 people were arrested. Last year, it was 154 people.

The increased DUI patrols ran from December 14th through New Year's Day.
