Final tally for Olympic medals

The United States won the most Gold Medals and the most Medals overall at the 2012 London Olympics. At the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, the American's won the most Medals but China won the most Gold Medals.

USA: 46 Gold, 104 Total

China: 38 Gold, 87 Total

Russia: 24 Gold, 82 Total

Great Britain: 29 Gold, 65 Total

Germany: 11 Gold, 44 Total
