A local restaurant steps up to help aid relief efforts in Haiti.
Finns in Grover Beach will host a fundraiser tomorrow night from 5 to 9 p.m. All of the money will go to the American Red Cross Haiti Fund.
The owner says the restaurant will offer a limited menu in order to serve as many people as possible. Employees and community members are also donating their time and tips.
"An earthquake is very close to home when it comes to california and the devastation to the poorest country in the western hemisphere is just overwhelming. It breaks your heart. You want to cry, but you have to do something," said restaurant owner Bruce Van Vort.
The restaurant hosted a similar event during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and raised $10,000.
