Fire at a Grover Beach home

The Five Cities Fire Authority and the San Luis Obispo Fire Investigation Strike Team are investigating a Grover Beach house fire that broke out just after 8:00 p.m. Saturday.

According to the Five Cities Fire Authority, the fire burned a home in 1500 block of Nice Avenue.

Fire officials said the fire was contained to the home and did not spread to any other structures. There were no injuries.

Fire officials said Saturday night, the fire was believed to have started in the backyard and spread to the home.

No information has been released on how much damage was caused to the home.
