The California Highway Patrol says traffic on the southbound 101 is backed up at least to the top of the Cuesta Grade. Traffic was delayed after one lane of the freeway was closed due to a brush fire at the base of the grade. CAL FIRE officials say that fire has been contained. Previous reports that it burned 15 acres have changed. Officials say the fire burned 10 acres. Fire crews are still at the scene doing mop up.
