Fire crews on scene of fire in Santa Barbara County

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department is on scene of a small fire off of North San Marcos Road near Highway 154.

Fire officials say the fire is burning at the bottom of a canyon near some power lines.

About 1/4 of an acre of brush has burned.

When crews arrived, they found a yurt on fire. A yurt is a small structure often used for camping. A propane tank and live ammunition was also found in the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
