Fire crews on scene where vehicle hit powerline near Highway 1 and Jalama Road near Lompoc

Santa Barbara County Fire Department crews responded to a vegetation fire that started about one p.m. Tuesday near Highway 1 and Jalama Road south of Lompoc.

Fire officials said a vehicle struck a power line,causing the fire. Crews are treating one person in the crashed vehicle.
