Fire damages home in Nipomo

Nipomo House Fire

Cal Fire is investigating the cause of a fire that damaged a home in Nipomo.

Fire officials say they received a call at 7:13am Sunday about a fire in the 100 Block of East Vintage Street.

They were able to get the fire under control, but the damage was extensive. According to Cal Fire, the garage and kitchen had the most damage, and the rest of the house was damaged by smoke and heat.

No injuries were reported.
