A spokesperson for CALFIRE says a small grass fire Wednesday afternoon in California Valley was likely sparked by a tractor.
The fire was spotted by a CALSTAR helicopter around 1:15p.m. Wednesday off Soda Lake Road just north of Highway 58. Flames charred about five acres of grass.
No structures were threatened.
