Fire officials say arson was the cause of a structure fire that destroyed a home in Monterey County Saturday morning.
It happened around 1:41 a.m. Saturday in Soledad.
Officials say they arrived at the scene of the fire and found a single story, single family home in a full involved fire.
No one was injured, and firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
Officials have ruled that arson was the cause of the fire, but they're still investigating the accident.
Officials don't know exactly how much damage the fire caused, but they say the home is a complete loss.
