Firefighter fundraiser in Paso Robles

Many local firefighters are in Northern California to help battle dozens of wildfires. And one local organization is raising money to help those firefighters.

Park Cinemas in Paso Robles will be showing the new "Planes: Fire and Rescue" Disney movie on Tuesday night.

Ticket sales will go to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. The group's mission is to "help injured firefighters and/or the family members of fallen firefighters that are killed in the line of duty on a wildland incident anywhere in the United States."

Organizers said the movie is perfect for the whole family. It starts at 7:00 p-m at Park Cinemas.

Tickets are 10 dollars for kids five and up. Children four and under can see the movie for free.

Tickets will be available at the door. You can also purchase them at Kennedy Club Fitness in Paso Robles. Or you can pay by texting "planes p-r" to 4-1-4-4-4.
