Fire fighters are gaining the upper hand on the prescribed burn that jumped firelines near Montana de Oro.
As of 3:45 pm Wednesday fire crews have the fire at 75% containment. Fire officials have held the fire to burn 100 acres.
No homes are threatened by the wildfire, which started Tuesday after crews were deliberately burning off 430 acres of brush as part of a prescribed burn.
One firefighter received minor injuries. Crews are expecting to gain full containment by Wednesday.
