Firefighters put out car carrier fire on Highway 154

Santa Barbara County firefighters put out flames on Highway 154 after a car carrier catches fire.

Fire crews were called out around 9:20 p.m. Thursday to the highway near East Camino Cielo. When they arrived, they say they found a car carrier towing four vehicles that was fully involved. Firefighters knocked down the fire quickly and saved the four vehicles.

However, the tow vehicle could not be saved. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
